Last Day of Student Teaching

After almost 16 weeks, my stint of student teaching is now over. What seemed like a long time to be in the classroom at the beginning of this school year went by so incredibly fast that I really can't believe it!

I got to know the kids and really wish I could've stayed even longer! Believe it or not, the kids wanted me to stay longer too! I feel very fortunate that I was in such a good classroom with a wonderful teacher to learn from. She made it very easy for me to be myself and perform comfortably within the classroom.

I haven't posted previously on the class or my semester: I was assigned to a high school Business Computer Information Systems (BCIS)1 class composed of a mixture of 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students. I think the mixture of grade levels as well as the focus on computers made this class so enjoyble. The students tended to keep each other in check.

I will miss the students, the school, and the teaching and hope to find my own classroom running as smoothly as this one.
